Emily Franklin is a Senior Property Manager at Athena Property Management with over 10 years of experience in the real estate industry. She graduated from California State Polytechnic University of Pomona with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science.
Before joining Athena, Emily was a Portfolio Assistant at Morlin Asset Management for five years and assisted three Senior Portfolio Managers with the operation of over 1.5 million square feet of commercial properties in Los Angeles. She has experience in Residential and Commercial Property Management and has worked on accounts for office, medical office and retail buildings throughout Southern California.
Emily oversees a Commercial Portfolio which consist of approximately 1.5 million square feet, 16 shopping centers and 200 tenants, between Los Angeles and the Inland Empire. The day-to-day operations consist of annual operational budgets, CAM reconciliations, quarterly reforecasting, monthly reporting, leasing, collections, Tenant and Vendor relations. In addition, she works closely with clients on re-development projects which consist of construction budgets, schedules, cost tracking and loan draws.
Emily is working on furthering her education by renewing her memberships with the Orange County Chapters of IREM and BOMA and is in the process of obtaining her CPM certification.
