Jeff Lochner is a founding member of Athena and has been it’s Vice President since 2011. He is currently responsible for Operations and all Construction and Entitlement.

Prior to joining Athena, Mr. Lochner worked at Vestar Development Company and Developers Diversity Realty (DRR). While in his position with DDR, Mr. Lochner was responsible for managing contractors, architects/engineers and budget reporting for 6,000,000 square feet of retail space.

After leaving DDR, Mr. Lochner joined Vestar, a West Coast based retail property owner of power, community, speciality and neighborhood centers located throughout Central and Southern California and Arizona. Mr. Lochner successfully Completed construction at The District at Tustin Legacy, 1,000,000 square foot shopping center valued at 300,000,000. Mr. Lochner has also worked as a property manager. His duties included all property manager functions for two retail projects (Long Beach Town Center 1,000,000 square feet and Glendale Fashion Center, 270,000 square feet), including leasing, maintenance, reporting and financial. Mr. Lochner managed and coordinated tenant improvement and exterior remodel projects for all properties within the portfolio.

Mr. Lochner received his Bachelors of Science degree in Construction Management from the University of Cincinnati. In addition, Mr. Lochner holds a Real Estate Salesperson License.
